“The Shadow”

A life without aim
No reasons, no claim
Living coz’ you have to
Breathing coz’ you have to

No hassles, no fights
Just without rights
No chases, no struggles
Cool, calm like turtles

The pace moved on
For a long time
Till I saw a shadow
Coming along the line

It could follow me
Just like my shadow
I could find it everywhere,
In every work I do

I realised its feel and warmth
Slowly as the time went
And soon the point arrived when
I couldn’t live without it a single moment

It became a part of my routine
Then part of my life all
The part of my breathe
Moreover of complete soul

As our relation grew
I realised the major
That my eyes were not able to find it
Though it was there for ever
